Program Overview

Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) since 1986, UWL’s psychology program is one of the longest-established in the UK. The program takes a contemporary approach, so that students study both BPS core content and innovative modules that explore current developments in psychology.

Students will learn from staff and guest speakers with valuable experience in the field, while also having the opportunity to gain work experience.

Entry Requirements

  • Students will have completed and passed modules that map onto UWL BSc Psychology provision at levels 4 (Diploma of 120 credits) and level 5 (Advanced Diploma of 120 credits) taken through ANC provision in Sri Lanka, and which are accredited by the SQA.
  • Diploma in Higher Education (DipHE)
  • Advanced Diploma in Psychology by SQA
  • BTEC Level 5
  • QA Professional Development Award (SCQF level 8) standard
  • OTHM Level 5
  • Year 1 & 2 completion at any recognized university
